This blog is a way of assembling and managing the content of a proposed memoir about the experience of surviving an auto-pedestrian accident. As I learned to put it, so as not to creep people out, “I woke up in the ER with injuries everywhere except my arms and one foot.” There’s more information in the blog-memoir-content management system (CMS) about those injuries. The one injury that makes the story remarkable is that I earned a second Ph.D. degree after the accident, in a very different field, although I had been in a coma from head injuries.
